The new year has begun and we have entered a new liturgical cycle of worshiping our living God. This week we’re celebrating the baptism of Jesus. Although He didn’t need to be baptized—for He was without sin—He went through the waters of baptism as an example to us. The implication is that all followers of Jesus should be baptized! (If you’re not baptized, let me know and we can arrange for that to happen!) I’m also pleased to announce that the Rev. Dr. Ed Hird will be preaching from the book of Proverbs this Sunday. The title of his sermon is “The Delicious Taste Of Gossip!”

So come, join us as we worship the triune God together. Here’s the announcement:

• Remember that “Ladies’ Refresh” (on Tuesdays) and our Thursday Support Group and Bible Study are having a break during January.
• All Saints Pizza Lunch after the service on Sunday the 29th January. We’ll provide the pizza and drinks. You bring your family and friends. Everyone is welcome.
