Was Judas a ‘model’ disciple?

What would you say if I told you that Judas was a “model” disciple of Jesus. Well in a “negative” way he was. You’ll have to come to church on Sunday if you want to hear me unpack this statement. There are lots of people who “follow” Jesus; not all of them are legitimate followers. Are you? Well that depends on your willingness to surrender to Him. It’s a journey we all have to consider. Come and discover some of the challenges people face when trying to follow Jesus.
We’re also dedicating little Emrie to God this Sunday. What a joy that will be.
So come, join us as we worship the triune God together. Here’s the announcement:

Important Dates:
• Ladies’ Refresh every Tuesday at 10:30am at the church. All ladies are welcome.
• Thursday Support Group and bible study: Dinner together at 6:00pm and bible study at 7:00pm Everyone is welcome.
• Don’t forget if you have Nature’s Fair receipts you can give them to Shai Kroeker from A Rocha who will benefit with a donation.
• Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper: 6:00pm on Feb. 21st. Everyone welcome
• Ash Wednesday Service: 7:00pm at church. Everyone welcome.
• Jenny and I will be on holidays visiting our parents in Australia from the 1st March till the 23rd March. Ed Hird will cover while I’m away.
