Remember to bookmark the date in your calendar for the hybrid July 7th to 8th 2023 BC Christian Ashram retreat. It will be held at TWU and online with Dr. John Roddam, Rev. Dr. Rod Ellis, and Rev. Matt Henson. The Theme is from the Lord’s Prayer is “On Earth as in Heaven”. You can register today by clicking on this link.

Dr. John Roddam was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. He served parishes in Eastern & Western Canada and in the Pacific NorthWest USA. He has been active with the United Christian Ashram Movement for over 40 years. John has a strong prophetic anointing and healing ministry.  Dr. John comments that “God’s Kingdom is bursting forth in Earth as it is in Heaven. We are to pray and partner with the Lord as His Kingdom Purposes expand in and through our lives, impacting God’s world!  We are privileged to work with God, NOT for God.  Sam Shoemaker began his day with this prayer, “Thank you, Lord, for this new day!  What are you about today?  I want to be part of it!”

Rod Ellis, called into service by our Lord Jesus Christ as Pastor, Bible teacher, church builder, and ambassador! Married to Lynne for fifty years, father, and grandfather. Still active after over forty five-years of kingdom ministry in Durban and Cape Town, South Africa, and Victoria, BC. Served twenty years as Rector of Church of Our Lord (COOL) and presently co-pastoring with Lynne, a mission branch of the Table Church in Brentwood Bay. A sports and fitness enthusiast, avid pickleball player also involved in pickleball politics.

What does “on earth as it is in heaven” mean? What is it like in heaven, and how does this relate to us and our God-given commission here on earth? What is our starting point and end game in how we view what is going on around us? What is the Holy Spirit saying that we need to hear and doing that we  should follow? How can we be heavenly ambassadors for Christ here on earth in these days?

Rev. Matt Henson serves as the Executive Director for the United Christian Ashram International Ministry. Matt has previously served as the International Committee Chairperson, a member of the Board of Directors, and as a member of The Four. Matt also serves as the Executive Director and Lead Evangelist for Living the Adventure Ministries, a ministry he founded in 2007. Matt leads revivals, renewal events, and Christian Ashrams, while also leading teams on mission trips to Haiti, Zimbabwe, Guyana, India, and domestically in the United States. Matt works with our staff to communicate with our local ashrams and to help expand the UCAI vision internationally. Matt lives in rural Southern Illinois with his wife, Nancy and five children (Elijah, Micah, Judah, Isaiah, and Sarafina).
