Reed Fleming, whom I known through Anglican Renewal Ministries of Canada, is an inherently funny person. He is a joy to be around, often having a twinkle in his eye. His engaging God Laughs book reminds us that because God himself has a sense of humour, our humour and joy comes from being made in God’s image. Reed often ministers in Threshold/Church Army contexts to those who have been hard-living and hard drinking. Rather than shame or threaten them, his effective evangelism wins them over winsomely with well-honed stories that have been recorded in this book. Everything in Reed’s life and new book points graciously to his loving saviour and friend Jesus. Well done, Reed.
