The book Restoring Health: body, mind and spirit is an altogether useful and wonder-filled “parable” for living ministry that you have otherwise clearly structured and delightfully (though at times painfully because of your faithful journey) put forth more as a tool of living ministry than a glimpse through Titus. Titus in this work becomes true “contact lenses” for healthy, relational, biblical and Spirit Filled ministry.
All in all, this is a delightful “must have”, “must read” and “must share” – journey in which no one can remain passive.

Pastoral Team Leader: Rev. Dr. Roger Jan Radley
*Roger, priest in The Anglican Mission Society is currently “working the streets” of Las Vegas NV in a ministry called to raise up and sustain leaders who share “the unconditional love” of Jesus Christ. As a pastor, writer, speaker, teacher, editor Roger has been published by Harper, Fortress, Doubleday, Paulist Press, Pilgrim Press, Bear & Company, Pflaum, Changing Times, etc. His “accidentally” groundbreaking doctoral dissertation (published in 1989) AIDS Caregiving {Contextualizing Pastoral Caregiving to Persons Affected by AIDS—Response to the Pastoral Situation} became the basis of intentional studies into the nature of caregiving and ministry as lifestyle of restoration and renewal. The emphasis of his studies of caregivers who did not “burn out” , pointed to the characteristic behaviors of spirit, mind and body which Dr. Hird so delightfully demonstrates through the “Titus lens.”
Roger’s Ph.D. concentration Religious Studies with emphasis in Pastoral Counselling.
*Mountain’s Edge Church of The Anglican Mission ministers within the edge of two mountains–that of God (Spring-McCullough-Sunrise-Sheep Ranges) and that of man (Luxor Resort, “the Strip” etc.). We ask your financial support that we continue in faith so we may “say to this mountain ‘move from here to there’ and it will move for nothing will be impossible” Matthew 17:20 (esv)
