This Sunday we remember St. James the brother of St. John. He was also known as James the Greater. One of the inner circle of Jesus’ closest disciples. He was the first of the Apostles to be martyred—executed by the sword by King Herod Agrippa I in 44 AD. St. James had a significant influence on the life of his brother John and the other disciples. Of course, St. James has also impacted the lives of those of us who follow Jesus. That’s why we remember him this week. This Sunday we are also privileged to have the Rev. Brian Shimer, keynote speaker at this years BC Christian Ashram, as our guest preacher. Brian will preach from the Gospel of Mark with a sermon entitled, “Deliver Us From The Evil One.”

- This coming Sunday: 19th July The Feast of St. James the Apostle Special Guest preacher Brian Shimer. Everyone welcome.
- Ladies’ Refresh Prayer at All Saints Church 10:30am every Tuesday. All women are welcome to come for a refreshing time of Scripture reading, fellowship, and prayer.
- Weekly Men’s Fellowship: “Been Around The Word”. An informal gathering for men. 9:30am Wednesdays at “Bean-Around-The-World” coffee shop, White Rock (corner of Johnston Road and Thrift Avenue White Rock). All men welcome.
- Prayer and Bible Study: Thursdays at 7:00pm. Everyone welcome.
