This Sunday we celebrate Trinity Sunday

This Sunday we’re celebrating the Holy Trinity. Although the word “trinity” doesn’t actually exist in the bible, the concept of a “three-in-one-God” is one of the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—three persons, one God; three “Whos” one “What”! The Holy Trinity is a difficult concept to grasp, but we thank our triune God for the Persons of the trinity. The Rev. Dr. Ed Hird will be preaching this Sunday. He is preaching from Isaiah 61:1-12, and the title of his sermon is “Bringing Them Home On Trinity Sunday.”

So come, join us as we worship the triune God together. Here’s the announcement:
