Restoring Health: body, mind and spirit

Join us for the Day of Pentecost this Sunday at 10am

Have you ever considered the role of the third Person of the Trinity in your life? The Holy Spirit was sent to indwell us in order that we might do the work of the Kingdom of God here on earth. Ten days after Jesus ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples who were gathered together in an upper room in Jerusalem. It was early in the morning as the Holy Spirit fell on them. Suddenly what looked like tongues of fire descended upon the disciples and they began to speak in languages they had never learned. The people around them heard the Gospel spoken in their own native tongues. In fact the whole event sounded so bizarre that the neighbours accused the Disciples of drinking! This Sunday we’re going to re-enact that story. Our service will be conducted in the native languages of those who attend All Saints. We celebrate “the birth of the Christian Church” with our special preacher, the Rev. Dr. Canon Ed Hird who will preach a sermon entitled, “Heart Felt Rivers Of Living Water At Pentecost.” You’ll be given an opportunity to come forward and to be prayed for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. What a wonderful way to celebrate the coming of the third Person of the Trinity!

So come, join us as we worship the triune God together. Here’s the announcement:
