The first Christian Ashram that I attended in 1975

Gordon Hunter, Percy , and Mary Webster were very memorable speakers. I attended on the personal invitation of my fiancee who had attended the first Christian Ashram in 1974. The deep impact that the Ashram had on her life made me curious to attend and experience a Christian Ashram for myself.

With a fresh start, Sandy is determined to devote more time to her four children. But, within weeks of settling in their new life, the Brown family is plunged into turmoil.

Sandy receives shocking news that her children aren’t safe, which brings back haunting memories of the trauma she experienced as a girl. Then, the unthinkable happens…

A brutal attack puts Sandy on the brink of losing everything she’s loved. Her faith in God and the family she cherishes are pushed to the ultimate limit.

Is healing possible when so many loved ones are hurt? Are miracles really possible through the power of prayer? Can life return to the way it was before?

  1. Dear Bro. Hird,

We have been posting articles and audios by Percy Gutteridge on our website (www.FinestOfTheWheat.org) over the last nine years. In at least one of the recently posted audio files, it’s clear that Pastor Gutteridge was preaching at the Ashram, and I always wondered about the context. I’ll have to go back through to see if I can remember which audio-teaching it was. (Or perhaps it’s one of the recently acquired files that I haven’t finished “cleaning up” and posting yet.)

Thanks for sharing your memories of the Ashram and Percy.

    Yours in Jesus,

    Jim Kerwin
