As the principal of a Christian school, these stories serve our teenagers well as fantastic testimony of people committing their life to Jesus. These concise stories are just right for the age we live in to encourage and inspire. As we read about these incredible history makers, we are reminded that all of us can be a difference maker and start a fire for the Lord within another’s heart. Hats off to Ed and Janice for not just putting together these stories, but challenging us to learn from them and be inspired. A great read for the whole family! 4.0 out of 5 stars A challenging and encouraging read Reviewed in Canada on October 27, 2021 My good friends Ed and Janice Hird have compiled an inspiring collection of twenty brief, but intense, stories of wonderful examples of sacrificial faith. They provide all sorts of little-known details of these, fairly well-known, historical characters. I personally appreciate how they don’t gloss over their frailties and personal challenges, reminding us that God delights in using normal human beings to do great things for him.
